New building for Sir Asyab Girls High School to benefit 3500 students
KABUL, Afghanistan (Feb. 27, 2011) -- A ceremony commemoriating the opening of the new Sir Asyab Girls High School building occured Saturday attended by U.S. Army Maj. Gen. Timothy McHale, deputy commander-Support, U.S. Forces-Afghanistan; Afghanistan Minister Ghulam Farooq Wardak, Minster of Education; Colonel Sediqullah Saberi, commander, Darulaman Garrison; Toran Ishaq, village elder; students and their families and school officials.
