The Revolutions

Written today on my facebook page, to someone talking about a new revolution in the country.  This illustrates my feeling on that subeject.

I think the reason a revolution hasn't started is that people are not fully awake. They do not entirely see the picture. I hope and pray they will soon, before it is too late.

I grew up in the 50's and I can tell you the changes that have taken place in this country since then are staggering - and except for some of the most awesome technological advancement, the society has been in steady rapid moral decline. What I have learned lately tells me that the changes began even further back, at the turn of the century.

I am the grandchild of Italian/Swedish and English immigrants. They came here to a wonderful country, where opportunities were abundant,, where becoming an American Citizen was a dream come true, one they thanked God for every day of their lives. They found it a blessing to integrate into the great society in a new land. Since then progressive/socialist agendas have infiltrated the courts, the schools, the media, the movies, the government, it has eroded at a great pace the American dream along with the wearing away of the American Constitution.

I hope, I pray, and I work with all other American Patriots in the battle of our lifetime, to turn the tide, to return to our great American virtues, and values. I believe there are many who's eyes are opening and who's hearts are eager to return America to its greatness. And Robert, your one of those Patriots!! and there are many more and we will find them, ours is an honorable fight and God is with us!! So here's to the future and a lasting free Nation!! God Bless you and all of us in our great Godly efforts to save the USA!!

I'm Here to Tell you that You're not Alone

I'm Here to Tell You That You're Not Alone

Do you ever feel like you're lost in the crowd?
Do you ever feel like everyone's pushing you around?
Like down and down you go you hit the ground!
Do you think they're telling you to do things
you don't want to do? Do you?

Do you think the music playing now's too loud
and your head's exploding like a bomb
Do you ever feel like you've sold your soul
To get the house, the car the piles of gold
until your brain is fried and all the tears are cried
Do you feel like you'll fold in two and that
there's nothing left inside of you?

I'm here to tell you that your not alone.
I'm here to listen to your prayers and tears.
I'm here to hold you through the pain
so dear - pass it to me gently now
let me make you whole again.

The world is an illusion in a dream
nothing really is the way it often seems
we blindly follow in confusion
unaware it's all illusion
the magic in the silver moon
mysteries and fantasies or utter doom
where dark held secrets hide at night
but come to life with me, my love,
I will restore your sight.

Do you want to stop the deafening sound!
Want to keep from spinning all around
Till you can't hold on, you can't hold on
spinning out of control till your body hits the ground
crashed to a million pieces and you can't be found!

I'm here to tell you that your not alone.
I'm here to listen to you prayers and tears.
I'm here to hold you through the pain.
so now pass it to me gently,
let me make you whole again
fall into my arms and into my love
I will lift you to the sky above.
out of the living and the living dead.

Will you carry it off the train, Corrie?" he said.
I stood up and tugged at it. It was crammed with the watches and spare parts he had purchased that morning.
It's too heavy," I said.
Yes," he said, "and it would be a pretty poor father who would ask his little girl to carry such a load. It's the same way, Corrie, with knowledge. Some knowledge is too heavy for children. When you are older and stronger, you can bear it. For now you must trust me to carry it for you."

I came here tonight to find a Mr. William Grey. His Son was Killed in Iraq today.

this was posted on Facebook by support our troops, unknown who wrote this story, but it is amazing.

"AN AMAZING STORY" I came here tonight to find a Mr. William Grey. His Son was Killed in Iraq today.

I came here tonight to find a Mr. William Grey. His Son was Killed in Iraq today.

"JUST STAY"

A nurse took the tired, anxious serviceman to the bedside. "Your son is here," she said to the old man. She had to repeat the words several times before the patient's eyes opened.
Heavily sedated because of the pain of his heart attack, he dimly saw the young uniformed Marine standing outside the oxygen tent. He reached out his hand. The Marine wrapped his toughened fingers around the old man's limp ones, squeezing a message of love and encouragement..

The nurse brought a chair so that the Marine could sit beside the bed.All through the night the young Marine sat there in the poorly lighted ward, holding the old man's hand and offering him words of love and strength. Occasionally, the nurse suggested that the Marine move away and rest awhile.
He refused. Whenever the nurse came into the ward, the Marine was oblivious of her and of the night noises of the hospital - the clanking of the oxygen tank, the laughter of the night staff members exchanging greetings, the cries and moans of the other patients.
Now and then she heard him say a few gentle words. The dying man said nothing, only held tightly to his son all through the night.

Along towards dawn, the old man died. The Marine released the now lifeless hand he had been holding and went to tell the nurse. While she did what she had to do, he waited.

Finally, she returned. She started to offer words of sympathy, but the Marine interrupted her. "Who was that man?" he asked. The nurse was startled, "He was your father," she answered. "No, he wasn't," the Marine replied. "I never saw him before in my life." "Then why didn't you say something when I took you to him?" "I knew right away there had been a mistake, but I also knew he needed his son, and his son just wasn't here.

When I realized that he was too sick to tell whether or not I was his son,
knowing how much he needed me, I stayed." I came here tonight to find a Mr. William Grey. His Son was Killed in Iraq today, and I was sent to inform him. What was this Gentleman's Name? The Nurse with Tears in Her Eyes Answered, Mr. William Grey.............

The next time someone needs you ... just be there. Just Stay.

WE ARE NOT HUMAN BEINGS GOING THROUGH A TEMPORARY SPIRITUAL EXPERIENCE. WE ARE SPIRITUAL BEINGS GOING THROUGH A TEMPORARY HUMAN EXPERIENCE. GOD IS SO GOOD.

If I Could Give the World a Gift

If I could Give the World a Gift
j. milici copyright march 2011

If I could give the world a gift
it would be LOVE
I would wrap it in the stars of heaven
and tie it with the bond of brotherhood.

If I could give the world a gift
it would be PEACE
I would hold it in my nested palms
softly like a white dove for all to see.

If I could give the world a gift
it would be JOY
I would place it gently on the happy wind
to float into the hearts of every living soul.

If I could give the world a gift
It would be A SONG
I would sing with power like an angel
A melody of harmony and truth.

If I could give the world a gift
it would be FRIENDSHIP
We would embrace each other
As brothers – as sisters – as family.

If I could give the world a gift
it would be FAITH
I would say a prayer with you
and He would come and sit with us.

If I could give the world a gift
it would be TOMORROW
on the wings of a glorious dawn
with golden sunshine and rest from pain.

If I could give the world a gift
it would be A NEW DAY
We would all wear radiant white
And dance together amid the clouds

And there would be PEACE
And there would be LOVE
And the earth would shine like a diamond
And wouldn't that be so wonderful!
If I could give the world these gifts!
And you and I could rejoice together!
For once and forever!

When Will There Be Freedom

When Will There Be Peace
*copyright 3/2011 j. milici, all rights reserved

When will there be freedom
When will there be peace
When will there be showing
the love each human seeks?

I know one day there will freedom
I know one day there will be peace
He holds the world in open palms
Waits and wants to heal us.

My heart is bleeding, bleeding,
I am pleading tearfully pleading
Might that day dawn to stop the parade
of dead in coffins silent passing while
the world weeps and mourns?

There is no peace when there is war
There is no love where hate is heartless
There can't be joy amid the blood of babies
Or from a suffering mothers wails
unnoticed in the silence.

I know one day there will freedom
I know one day there will peace
He holds the world in his open palms
Waiting to heal us.

There's no rest for the weary traveler
who sees the blood of bomb blasts
soak white sheets red in the slaughter
that drowns out all our laughter with
the sound of deathly silence.

I cannot see the sunrise
or know of others sorrows
or hear the cries of widows
screaming pity in my ears!

I can't sleep tonight and
I can't keep silent vigil
I can't awake to hear fright
death's numbers on airwaves
or murdered soldier tolls
the wails of orphaned babies
or feel a mothers emptiness
inside her aching soul!

When will it be finished?
When will the world find Peace?
How will we find each other
In a place where only hatred keeps
the angry hearts alive to die
while history speaks in lies?

I know one day there will be freedom
I know one day there will be peace
He holds the world in his open palm
Waiting and wanting to heal us.

Will we let Him?
Will we let Him heal us?

Another War, Another Tsunami, Another Earthquake, Another Bombing

I don't even know how to begin writing again.  Since last I wrote, Australia was hit with an awful earthquake, thousands dead; then, Japan hit with the worst quake in history and a tsunami that killed over 10,000 and they still counting.  In addition, worries about the nuclear reactor and damages that are cause leaks of radiation.

This past week I sat before my tv and witnessed something I never dreamed of.  I actually watched as the President said "We have entered into a third war".!! Nearly fell of my chair!! Can't believe he has done this, his is the most evil president this country has every known!!

We are still in Iraq and Afghanistan, now we are also in Libya.  Every day more soldiers die, more innocent by standers die.  Nothing seems to be ending, just esculating.

On Tuesday, my friend in Gaza lost 3 members of his family from the bombing there.  The children were 11 and 16 and there was 8 more deaths. How my heart aches for that family.   The bombing was in retaliation of the murder of a family that was stabbed to death in Israel; mother, father and infant brutally stabbed one night.  Also, the Palestinian are sending suicide bombers and this week blew up a bus killing a British women and wounding many many more!

Is this not the Last Days? How could one doubt! There are wars and rumors of wars, famines, earthquakes, and tsunamis.  Everywhere there is suffering, and the worst is the suffering of the children, the world's children!

I feel at a loss, unable to even express the sorrow I feel.   This month however, I did send a huge box of clothing to Afghanistan for the children there.  I sent money for school supplies.  But it is so little, and I wish I could do so much more.  My prayers everyday are for peace, to end the suffering, but I knowing my heart until the Savior comes again there will be no peace at all. It's a sad day. It is a very sad day. Maybe tomorrow will be brighter, maybe.

If I Had Wings and Could Fly

(copyright) march 2011, j. milici
this is a song I wrote for a friend of mine
to put to music.

If I had Wings and Could Fly

My lost love-
need you so much
need you like air to breath
need your warm touch
need your whispers of love
need the smell of your hair
need you to heal my heart
my heart you broke
like a porcelain doll
slammed on cement
shattered in a million
splinters.

If I had wings
If I could fly
I'd fly to the moon
through midnight sky
to search for you.
I'd fly to find you.

Are you somewhere
out in the dark
lye'n in the dark alone?
lye'n on the ground
as cold as stone?
I'd fly to you now
If I only knew how
I 'd follow the star
to where you are.

You left one night
left me alone
left me afraid
afraid in the dark
Now I can't stop
by bleed'n heart
from wantn' you again
to heal my tortured soul
to set my spirit free
to release me
out of this place
out of this prison
out of hell.

If I had wings
If I could fly
I'd fly to the moon
through midnight sky
to search for you.
I'd fly to find you.

The blade of your knife
cut to my bones
cut through my flesh
cut out my heart
then cut it apart and
left blood on the floor
when you walked out
when you walked like
a statue of ice
out the door.

If I had wings
If I could fly
I'd fly to the moon
through midnight sky
to search for you.
I'd fly to find you.

I think of you
pray to heaven
and cry
wonder'n why
why'd you leave
why'd you go
I loved you so
didn't you know?

Didn't you know
I loved you so?
